This technology is the process which develops a gas from common water invented by Yull Brown, a Bulgarian professor lived in Australia and deceased in the 1990's. The water is converted into a completely safe hydrogen and oxygen mixture. So, we can say that Brown’s Gas is a hydrogen based fuel produced from water (using electricity).
Using efficient electrolyzing techniques, to extract hydrogen from water it is required a separated anode and cathode. The hydrogen can then be captured, and the oxygen released. Browns Gas is the result of recombining hydrogen and oxygen (HHO).
You can find several websites on the Internet that show you how to convert your car to burn HHO Gas. These manuals are generally downloadable ebooks that provide you full detailed instructions to assemble an Hydrogen-On-Demand system.
But first, you’ll need to buy the parts. A working system can be built at home with no special tools for less than $150 and you or any good mechanic could install these conversion kits on your vehicle in one week-end. All parts shown can be found locally on a hardware store.
Power systems such as that used by BMW use pure hydrogen through specific cells, and generate electricity to power a DC motor. This has nothing to do with HHO Gas or Brown's Gas, which is used in normal internal combustion engines and diesel engines.
